In December 2010, my family joined a short-term Mission trip to Mexicali. Our intention was to help others and pass the Gospel of God.  Out of my expectation, this trip is an eye-opening experience in my life. I was amazed by the Chinese people managing their daily lives in Mexicali.  In God’s plan, I met Pastor Karlson and his family. Their unconditional sacrifice to the Chinese people by outreaching them and helping them really inspired me a lot.   Their family set a perfect role model for us.  Moreover, God created us for a purpose and one of them is to pass the Gospel to others, we need to grab every opportunity to share his Gospel. After this trip, I experienced God‘s will by putting my focus on the missionary.  God is using this trip to mold me into a new person, he transformed me from a timid/passive person to an Active willing to serve Christian.   One of the main reasons that I am willing to serve in GPS mission center is to carry on Pastor Karlson‘s dream and his passion for serving the sheep in Mexicali.  I know I am simply a humble servant to join God’s work. Amen
